Founder & Principal: Frank Ryan B.A. (Soc), Dip. T (Env)

Frank Fitzgerald-Ryan, Principal and Founder of Vox Bandicoot Pty Ltd, is an internationally regarded practitioner in environmental education. Frank has worked in the field for over 30 years and his outstanding contribution has been recognised through being granted fellowship of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC and as a finalist in the 2003 United Nations Australian Environment Awards and the Eureka Award. Frank is also a current Watermark Australia Champion, Banksia Award and Victorian Environmental Education Prize winner. He has been published numerous times including Green Hits, Clockwork, (available free on this site), the Macmillan Environmental Encyclopedia, The Environment Book (foreword by Peter Garret), etc, etc, - through to the Sustainability Street Manual - which is, in effect, a neat summary of the amazing Vox Bandicoot pedagogy, as it has developed over the last twenty years or so.

Director: David Seignior: B. A. (English Literature ) & (Graduate Diploma, Writing)

A huge Welcome back to David who was part of our team during the early days of Vox Bandicoot nearly 17 years ago. David has worked as a writer and communicator for the last fifteen years, specialising in science and environmental education. He has worked in various roles, including six years with the Victorian Department of Education as a writer, producer and presenter of the 'STEPS and ‘Science Trek' programs - award winning multimedia resources for primary and secondary school students. And for the past two years he has worked as a project developer at Magian Design Studio, working on a number of high profile multimedia projects for clients such as Melbourne Zoo, The National Health Museum in Washington, The Museum of Economics in Mexico City, and the Canadian Museum of Nature.

Director: Sara Glenie Dip T. (Prim), Grad Dip (Arts Ed). Certif. Orff Schulwerk, (Salzburg)

Sara trained in Austria with Carl Orff and has been instrumental in influencing the very DNA of Vox Bandicoot to the extent that it draws inspiration from music, drama, eventfulness and the aesthetic. Sara's subtelty is crucial and a source of mitachondrial drive!

Senior Consultant: Yingsha, Li: Master of Commerce (HRM), B.A (English Language and Literature)

Sha was our international assistant when Vox carried out projects with Tianjin EPB and Nankai EPB back to China. Finishing the Uni life in Sydney at UNSW, Sha has now joined us to embrace a new life in Melbourne and to bring her amazing perception and imagination to the Vox. Sha, among many other things will be working on assisting Vox Bandicoot to enable China's first ever environmental education theatre company, in concert with the Tianjin EPB. Already the City of Melbourne and the Lord Mayor Cr. John So have expressed their keeness for this to happen, to further the strong links between Melbourne and Tianjin - who have a long standing sister city relationship.

Sha is also the person responsible for this website, the best one the Vox has had since about way back when. Shavonne is a Master of Commerse with a specialisation in Human Relations which, on top of her undergraduate degree in English Literature, having written a thesis on the work of Thomas Hardy, makes Ying Sha Li one of the most important additions to the Vox stable in a long time.
